e da para reciclar o corpo?

Claro!

Tesla Big Battery deal will help South Australia push for 100 percent green energy by 2030s

Citar
Tesla is set to activate a massive 25 MW Powerpack battery farm that will support Infigen’s 278.5 MW Lake Bonney Wind Farm in South Australia. Tesla’s utility-scale battery storage system will help Infigen Energy provide reliable electricity to households and businesses while lowering South Australia’s emissions footprint. Currently, the Lake Bonney Wind Farm already generates electricity enough for 110,000 homes or about 14 percent of the population in South Australia, the state with the highest level of renewable energy production in the country.

“Lake Bonney allows us to grow the volume of renewable energy we sell to commercial and industrial customers. We are pleased to be partnering with South Australian customers, communities and governments as we lead Australia’s transition to a clean energy future,” said Infigen’s Executive Director, Finance and Commercial Sylvia Wiggins.

The newest Tesla big battery in Australia was energezied last October and has been operating at full capacity since November 2019 but is going through a final testing phase. The Powerpack will store energy during times of high wind output and this energy can be dispatched during times of peak demand to save the market from high prices. Likewise, the Tesla battery in Lake Bonny can store as much 52 MWh of electricity that can be tapped even when the wind doesn’t blow.

Tesla’s participation in the renewable energy sector of South Australia will help push the state to a net 100 percent renewable energy in the 2030s. Aside from that, it will also help boost energy competition and make power more secure for businesses in South Australia.  The Lake Bonney Battery Energy system is a $38 million project with a $5 million grant from the state government and another $5 million support from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA).

“Assets such as the Lake Bonney Wind Farm and Battery provide reliable, affordable and renewable electricity to this state’s commercial and industrial customers. It will allow South Australia to incorporate more renewable energy into the system and move towards net-100% renewable energy in the 2030s,” said South Australia’s Minister for Energy and Mining Dan van Holst Pellekaan.

Tesla Powerpack is also used by Paris-based renewable energy company Neoen whose Hornsdale Wind Farm in South Australia is set to get larger by 50 percent, making it the world’s largest lithium-ion battery.

Então, a subida parece "normal".

Mas mesmo que se desenhe um canal de longo prazo o topo anda à volta dos 700$. Não está assim tão longe e já não compensa tanto o risco.

Neste momento já estou em modo trading com stop loss e limit order mental na maioria da posição

The Mercedes-Benz EQC, once deemed a “Tesla Killer” by the electric car maker’s critics, recently had its production targets reduced by 50% from 60,000 to 30,000 after parent company Daimler revealed that there is a shortage in LG Chem battery cells.

Daimler’s forecast for the EQC has not matched the actual sales figures for the vehicle. The goal was to sell 25,000 EQC cars last year but Daimler only managed to build around 7,000. In Daimler and Mercedes-Benz’s home country of Germany, vehicle registrations suggest that the car only sold 55 total units as of January 3, 2020.

Works Council Chief for Daimler Michael Brecht places some of the blame on Tesla. He states the company’s purchase of battery automation specialist Grohmann Engineering in 2016 has hindered Mercedes-Benz ability to produce a sufficient number of batteries, according to Reuters.

Brecht went on to state that Tesla’s acquisition of Grohmann caused problems in the ramping up process of producing batteries at its battery production plant known as Deutsche Accumotive.

Mercedes-Benz had hired Grohmann to build batteries for the company’s planned electric fleet. After Grohmann’s founder, Klaus Grohmann and Tesla CEO Elon Musk had a disagreement on how much involvement the battery automation company would have with Mercedes Benz, Musk formally removed Grohmann from his position. The company is now known as Tesla Grohmann Automation.

The news of the EQC’s reduced target production output seems to be a crossroads for Daimler as the European Union will begin issuing fines to auto manufacturers who do not reach the CO2 requirement of 95g per kilometer by the end of this year. This is dependent on the size of each individual manufacturer’s production rate and vehicle fleet.

Daimler will need to reduce its emissions by 27.3 grams by 2021 to avoid the $1.1 billion fine, according to a forecasting group called PA Consulting.

The terms of the emissions requirement allowed for the pooling of multiple companies so larger manufacturers would have an easier time meeting the CO2 requirement. Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles struck a deal with Tesla to pool emissions figures that will require an estimated $2 billion payment to the electric car manufacturer. This amount will effectively pay for the initial construction of Tesla’s German Gigafactory 4 in Berlin.

The EQC has been anything but smooth sailing for Mercedes since its release. The vehicle has been the subject of numerous production issues and has even received a delay in its North American launch.

SpaceX has won its first Falcon 9 launch contract of 2020, adding to an already substantial backlog of missions scheduled to launch over the next several years.

Commercial Egyptian satellite communications provider Nilesat reportedly awarded SpaceX the contract on January 21st and announced the news the following day. Nilesat previously revealed plans to purchase an upgraded communications satellite from European company Thales Alenia Space in December 2019 – a contract likely worth around $50-100 million.

Tesla conversation in White House dinner shows the depths of anti-TSLA FUD

Citar
Tesla has grown much over the years, as evidenced by the domination of the Model 3 in the premium sedan segment and the rise of factories like Giga Shanghai. Yet, at the same time, the level of Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD) that the company and its supporters have had to deal with have also intensified over the years. Even today, with TSLA stock at record levels, and with the company overtaking Volkswagen as the second largest automaker in the industry, anti-Tesla FUD is still at an all-time high.

At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, one must acknowledge a rather inconvenient truth. There is a massive misinformation campaign against Tesla, and it has been going on for years. One simply needs to look at a recently leaked recording of a 2018 White House dinner with US President Donald Trump to see proof of this.

Recently, a 90-minute recording of Trump and several dinner guests was shared with the public by a lawyer for Lev Parnas, a Soviet-born businessman who was reportedly involved in ousting American diplomat Marie Yovanovitch, the US’ ambassador to Ukraine. Several topics were discussed in the recording, one of which was electric vehicles in the United States and Tesla’s chances of survival.

During a particularly alarming part of the recording, which came at around the 58-minute mark, several individuals in the dinner started talking about electric vehicles. The US President asked how electric cars are doing in the market, and his inquiry was immediately met with a prompt “Not good.” A guest of the dinner then went on a long tirade against Tesla, filled with, unsurprisingly, a ton of FUD. Granted, Tesla was in a far more challenging place at the time when the recording was taken, but the sheer dislike for the company is quite shocking nonetheless.

“Tesla’s broke. 100%. They can’t produce them. The auto companies have caught up to him. He’s never generated anywhere close to positive cash flow. He’s subsidized by 25,000 per vehicle. It’s over.  The other thing people forget about it it’s great to have an electric vehicle, but you gotta plug it in and get a charge somewhere.

“And, the carbon footprint of this phone is the same as a refrigerator running. You need to generate the power. And generating it with wind and solar, wind and solar only generates 3.5% of our power usage today. You would take 50 years to get up to 5% at the rate we’re growing. It is still fossil k generating power. You have to have nuclear, you have to have oil and gas, and you have to have coal,” the guest said.

This statement, of course, is rife with misinformation. Since the time when the recording was taken, Tesla had only reported negative cash flow two times. The company posted positive cash flow four times. The alleged $25,000 subsidy that Teslas receive is also a complete fabrication, as the electric car maker’s federal credits only topped around $7,500. Of course, the comparison between the carbon footprint of a smartphone being comparable to the footprint of a running fridge is equally false.

The conversation only gets stranger from this point, and even with US President Donald Trump bringing up the topic of Tesla’s stock price, the attendees of the dinner were dismissive of the company. A guest even threw some shade at Elon Musk, stating that the CEO is “a little off socially.”

Fortunately for Tesla, the company appears to have reached a point where its results already speak for itself. Even with the FUD being thrown at Tesla’s efforts in China, for example, the company started MIC Model 3 deliveries before the facility’s construction hit the one-year mark. Despite all the alleged demand problems for the Model 3, the all-electric sedan has also maintained its momentum in regions such as Europe, driving down the point that there is a genuine demand for Tesla’s electric cars.

Watch US President Donald Trump and his dinner guests discuss electric vehicles, Tesla, and Elon Musk in the video below.
