Eis a última análise de Chris Kimble ao S&P500, acabada de publicar.

The Power of the Pattern believes that two of the most important emotional highs and lows over the past 11-years are the highs in 2007 and the lows in 2009.
We applied Fibonacci to the 2007 highs/2009 lows at each (1). The 261% Fibonacci extension level came into play at (2) at the 285 level. Numerous streaks and the overall character seemed to change once the S&P hit the 261% level at (2).
Even though many streaks have ended and the overall character of the SPY has changed since hitting the 261% level, it still remains inside of a 2-year rising channel. SPY bulls would get a very concerning message if support would break at (2)!

The first part of the year got off to a great start, not so much as the first quarter of 2018 came to an end. The above 8-pack looks at numerous indices in the states and highlights the patterns created in the first quarter.
First off, from a long-term perspective, the softness in the first quarter did not break the long-term bullish rising trends in each of the indices above.
From a shorter term perspective, the S&P 500, Dow, NYSE and Transports all could be creating “Descending Triangle” pattern at each (1). Around two-thirds of the time, this pattern leads to lower prices in the future. The key to these patterns is the blue support lines that were first created by the lows that took place in February. At this time support is support until broken.
If support would happen to not hold, the “measured move” of each descending triangle would suggest that these important indies would decline at least 10% below the lows of early February.
90-days from now (end of the 2nd quarter), market prices could be greatly influenced by these support lines!  Bulls would love to see these support lines hold and falling resistance is taken out to the upside. If this would take place, it would break the influence of these potential descending triangle patterns and indices would continue upward trends.
Below looks at the Semiconductor Index (SMH), which has rallied twice as much as the S&P 500 since the 2009 lows.



SMH monthly created large reversal patterns at each (1) and much lower prices followed. SMH finished last month with a large bearish reversal pattern at (2), at the same level as it peaked back in 2000.
Where stocks stand at the end of this month and at the end of next quarter, could be highly influenced by the descending triangle patterns by major indices and what SMH does at 2000 highs at (2).

Eis mais um excelente artigo de Danny, no qual explica o funcionamento de um dos seus indicadores proprietários para prever topos ou fundos. Deixo apenas o gráfico final, onde não está presente nenhuma divergência nesse indicador (ELC), pelo que talvez não se tenha alcançado ainda o zénite deste ciclo bull.

Bearish divergence in 2014-15 only led to a mild decline into early 2016 lows. The ELC has meanwhile printed new highs for this cycle, so there is no bearish divergence in place at the moment.
This means we have two possibilities. If January 2018 turns out to be a major peak then it will be the first time in over 100 years it peaks out without an ELC divergence. The other option is that this market makes at least one more run to new record highs and then we would probably get that bearish divergence as seen on all those earlier occasions. It will be interesting. Exceptions are there to prove the rule, but if history holds up then it is too early to call for a market top here.
I will keep you posted on how this chart evolves. Here and on my Twitter. And with a bit of luck I will try to call the top when my indicators suggest it is that time again.

Outros sistemas, um saiu cedo de mais e outros em cash há alguns dias. Somente longos, o de cima, e um outro em semanal, mas longo. Curtos nenhum - isto numa combinação que possuo.

existem varias hipóteses em aberto, penso também que o mercado deverá ir para cima devido á formação que está a ter, no entanto a possibilidade de um H&S com um segundo ombro a divergir com o sp500 no NASDAQ composite também se encaixa perfeitamente com numa formação A;B;C;D;E no spx e dow

The definition of a bull market or bull trends widely vary. One of the more common criteria for bull markets is determined by the asset being above or below its 200 day moving average.
In my humble opinion, each index above remains in a bull trend, as triple support (200-day moving averages, 2-year rising support lines, and February lows) are still in play at each (1).
With each index now below its 50 and 100 day moving averages should these triple support points at each (1) break to the downside, the Power of the Pattern would not be surprised to see selling pressure ramp up.
Below is a 20-year look at the Nasdaq Composite Index:



Will this March represent another key turning point for this key Tech index?
The Nasdaq Composite has spent the majority of the past 16-years inside of the blue shaded rising channel. The high in 2000 took place on 3/10/2000 as momentum was lofty and turning lower. The low in 2009 took place on 3/6/2009 as momentum was oversold and turning higher. Did a high take place at the top of the 16-year channel on 3/9/2018 as momentum was lofty and turning lower? In my humble opinion, I don’t know at this time.
I am of this opinion, if support would not hold at (1), I wouldn’t be surprised to see selling pressure continue to take place in this index and the FAANG stocks!
Bottom line: Bull trends are still in play and the action of the 6-weeks has not changed them. If each triple support test at (1) in the 4-pack above and the support point at (1) in the Nasdaq would fail to hold, intermediate (2-year) bull trends could be coming to an end.
