Lithium is an essential mineral that protects brain cells against excess glutamate and calcium, and low levels cause abnormal brain cell balance and neurological disturbances (75).  Lithium also is important in Vit-B12 transport and distribution, and studies have found low lithium levels common in learning disabled children, incarcerated violent criminals, and people with heart disease(76). Lithium supplementation has been found to be an effective treatment adjunct in conditions such as bipolar depression, autism, and schizophrenia where mania or extreme hyperactivity are seen(104)   Lithium had a significant mood-improving and stabilizing effect on former drug users with psychological conditions(77).    In the study a group including violent offenders and family abusers were divided into 2 groups.  Half got lithium supplements and half a placebo.  The group getting lithium had significantly increased scores for mood, happiness, friendliness, and energy, while the other group did not(77).   In a large Texas study, incidence of suicide, homicide, rape, robbery, burglary, theft, and drug use were significantly higher in counties with low lithium levels in drinking water(78).  In a  placebo controlled study on prisoners with a history of impulsive/aggressive behavior, the group taking lithium supplements had a significant reduction in aggressive behavior and infractions involving violence(79). The authors suggest that for those areas with low lithium levels in water, water systems should add lithium; and  those with deficiencies in lithium or displaying aggressive or impulsive behavior would likely benefit from lithium supplements(78,79).

Não devias procurar evidência científica em abordagens homeopáticas...

A homeopatia é uma patranha cuja prática foi incrivelmente ESCANDALOSAMENTE regulamentada e oficializada em Portugal
na República das Bananas este mês.

https://dre.pt/application/conteudo/58217870

Até os placebos são melhores que isto.

Estas enganado. A homeopatia funciona bem na forma injectavel. Ja ouviste falar em homotoxicologia?
Aquele corredor negro afro-portugues, obikueli(?)utiliza homeopatia injectavel e diz maravilhas daquilo. No caso dele usa o Testis

On September 30, 2016, the FDA warned consumers that homeopathic teething tablets and gels may be dangerous for infants and children. The agency has received adverse events reports, including seizures, associated with the use of these products. It is currently investigating the issue and testing product samples.

Homeopathic teething tablets and gels are distributed by CVS, Hyland's, and possibly others; they are sold in retail stores and online.

Apesar de se antigo, alguns artigos, vou na mesma deixar. Decidi ler algo sobre este assunto.
Há alguns produtos que parecem ter alguma acção (boa e má), mas outros.... cuidado.

On March 20, 2014, Terra-Medica, Inc. issued a voluntary recall of 56 lots of homeopathic products including, Pleo-FORT, Pleo-QUENT, Pleo-NOT, Pleo-STOLO, Pleo-NOTA-QUENT, and Pleo-EX.

These products have the potential to contain penicillin or derivatives of penicillin, which may be produced during the fermentation process. These products could cause a life-threatening allergic reaction in people with an allergy to penicillin or beta-lactam antibiotics.

The recalled products were sold in in liquid, tablet, capsule, ointment, and suppository forms and have a label stating "Distributed by SANUM USA Corp." They were distributed nationwide through health care practitioners, who may have sold the products through websites.
Mas já é vendido por outros...

Homeopathic Manufacturer Settles False Advertising Suit
Date Posted: 6/1/2012)
June 1, 2012 -- A federal court in California recently authorized the settlement of a class action lawsuit against Boiron Inc. and Boiron USA, Inc. claiming that Boiron falsely advertised its homeopathic products Oscillococcinum and Children's Oscillococcinum, Arnicare, Quietude, Camilia, and Coldcalm among others. These products are advertised to provide relief for the symptoms of common ailments including but not limited to the seasonal flu, muscle pain and stiffness, cough, the common cold, sleeplessness, restless sleep, occasional awakening, and relief of symptoms associated with baby teething, such as painful gums, irritability and minor digestive disorders.

Boiron has denied that it did anything wrong but, under the settlement, agreed to pay $5,000,000 to customers, plaintiffs, attorneys and others and, within 24 months of the settlement, will modify labels, packaging, and web pages related to the products. Packaging will be modified to indicate that the "Uses" described have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and will include the web address of a page explaining homeopathic dilutions.

Assinem o Consumerlab - muito bom.

Vou deixar no secret um assunto, com base científica, para quem esteja interessado.
